CEHMOB-MG call center is a 24/7, toll free phone system covering the State of Minas Gerais for health professionals, patients with sickle cell disease or any other hemoglobinopathies and their relatives to clear important doubts about urgency care.

The call center is a meaningful source of information about sickle cell anemia for different users in the whole State of Minas Gerais. For instance, physicians and nurses, especially those involved in urgency care, can clear doubts and get more information about clinical symptoms and adequate treatments.

The most frequent questions are answered by call center agents that retrieve information from a data bank. Specific information otherwise are provided by technical staff from Hemominas Foundation, Suport Diagnosis Center (NUPAD) or CEHMOB-MG.

The call center has an intelligent 0800 number. The structure consists of top-quality computers, a high-technology PABX comprising 20 trunks and 50 DID branches, and management and solution softwares for each center agent’s station.
